Trash the Dress? Or not!

I’ve had several after wedding photo shoots where the bride didn’t really care if she ruined her dress or not. This was a fun one in the Central Valley. Tammy was a very willing subject and after I dragged her and her husband all over the Delta, we ended up in her backyard pool in Ceres! She did a great job, we were all exhausted, but I got some great images. Here are a few of my favorites.

John and Sarah had a really sweet ceremony and reception at Amorosa Inn and Gardens in Lodi last month. Here are a few highlights of their wedding day. Congratulations to this happy Lodi couple!

Tammy Clark and Matt Wills had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Evanshire Gardens in Ceres on June 20th. What a neat couple they are! Good food, good fun and it even got a bit crazy a few times, like when one of her brothers and some friends jumped in the pool! Managed to keep my cameras dry, but certainly wasn’t expecting that!

Janice and Reza are true fun-seekers! When I arrived to start photographing Janice getting ready, her bridesmaids showed me her three pairs of shoes she would be wearing throughout her wedding and reception. What a kick!
Their ceremony was held at St. Peter’s Chapel on Mare Island. St. Peter’s was built in 1901 and is the oldest Naval Chapel in the country. The chapel has cozy, old world feel and charm, yet surprisingly holds 200 occupants. It is well- known for its large collection of original Tiffany stained glass windows.

Erin and Sean’s wedding at Oak Farm Vineyards, Lodi, California

Erin Ness and Sean Soulsby tied the knot on May 16th at Oak Farm Vineyards in Lodi. What a beautiful wedding! Surrounded by family and friends in 100-degree temperatures, Erin and Sean’s love and respect for each other was evident. The huge barn at Oak Farm makes for such a great venue and backdrop for photos. The vodka bar, buffet and wine all hit the spot and everyone had a great time on the dance floor.
