I’m thrilled to report that one of my images took second runner up in Sacramento Bride and Groom Magazine’s cover contest! I’m pretty excited about this recognition. It’s one of my photos of Brooke Ulmer in the corner at the Rivermill in Stockton. Brooke is beautiful and she was just glowing on her wedding day.

October has been a busy month for me. I am booking a TON of weddings for 2009. Seems that all of a sudden a bunch of couples either just got engaged, or they’ve been engaged since summer and have now decided to start booking their venues and photographers. Have you seen the latest rage in guestbooks? I’ve been designing them like crazy lately and they are very popular. Currently used to replace or in addition to the “signature matted and framed photo,” these photo guestbooks are an excellent way to keepsake your favorite engagement images along with entries from your wedding guests.
