Studio Portraits with Nugget the Bulldog

What a ‘model’ pet!  Nugget was a ton of fun to photograph. This 4-year-old English Bulldog was perfectly content in front of the lens. Catherine, his incredibly talented owner, plans to publish a line of greeting cards. Here are a few of my favorites (bummer that I can’t post them all!)

This young man is going places!

Last week I was thrilled to photograph a young man who is on the path to success.  Andrew is just starting his senior year at Tokay. He is smart, polite, fun and full of ambition. I love seeing his attitude toward the future and the way that he embraces life. He is wild about science, reads all the time and plays a great game…

Smokin Hot Football

I had a great time shooting some studio portraits of Tobi, one of Rio Vista’s exchange students from Austria. He brought the same intensity to the studio that he carries on the field and you can see that in his eyes. Very determined young man. Thank you Studio b in Rescue California, for showing me the technique on the flames! This was not done…

Michelle & Andrew’s Wedding

Had a great time shooting Michelle and Andrew’s engagement session AND wedding this year! Here’s a quick look at their wedding highlights. Michelle & Andrew’s Wedding.

Sara and Chris married at Oak Farm Vineyards!

I really enjoyed photographing Sara and Chris’ wedding at Oak Farm Vineyards! Super sweet families and friends in attendance and I think Sara was one of the mellowest brides I’ve ever photographed. Sara and Chris chose to do the ‘First Look’ and then take a majority of the family photos before the ceremony. They did their own flowers and favors and invitations, and brought…

Viaggio Weddings!

I’m really looking forward to my weddings at Viaggio Estate and Winery this season. I’ve been shooting lots of engagement sessions as well and Jennifer and Burak wanted to take their engagement photos on the property earlier this month. We had a great time and they were fun to work with. I love it when they come up with fun ideas…here’s one of my…

San Francisco Engagement Session

I really had a blast working with Marisa and Justin and we all realized that flexibility is very important! It was supposed to be warm and sunny in San Francisco, but when we got to Baker Beach, the fog had rolled in and we could just barely make out the bridge. We made the best of it anyways,  and played around in some unexpected…

My Sister’s Wedding

I was honored to photograph my sister’s wedding this month in the tiny town of Normandy, Tennessee (home of George Dickel, the other sour mash whiskey!).  It was a very small ceremony in an old wooden chapel that was packed full of love!  I so enjoyed putting my camera down for a bit and joining hands with most of my family at the altar…
