Nipple Ring Engagement

It was a pleasure photographing Val and Young in Scottsdale, Arizona a few weeks ago. The weather was perfect and we had an intense sunset. I liked Young right off the bat when he approached me with a big hug. But he had me a while back…when I first heard about how he proposed to Val. I liked him before I even met him….

Masquerade Reception at the Culinary Institute at Greystone

I knew I was in for some fun when Jenna and Vince told me that their wedding was on Halloween.  I was overjoyed when the news came that their venue was the Culinary Institute at Greystone in the heart of Napa Valley. The ceremony took place outside on the Herb Terrace with the massive walls of the historic building as their backdrop and two…

Riviera Maya Brides

This past fall I had the opportunity to work with some amazing people in the Yucatan.  As part of  conference called “Love Mexico”  I went as a photographer and member of AFWPI (Association for Wedding Professionals International). The conference was to educate wedding planners and other professionals about the area and to visit some of the beautiful venues in the Riviera Maya region just…

Seattle Engagment Session – Lauren and David

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren and David for their engagement session in Seattle this fall.  They are getting married at Viaggio Winery in Acampo in August 2010 and we thought it would be neat to have their engagement photos taken where they currently live.  David’s mom came along and we made a day of it, visiting all the hotspots and eating…

Lodi Bride – Tuscany Wedding

I feel like I’ve been in a whirlwind lately…in a good way.  I have a passion for travel, and since July I’ve visited 5 countries (Spain, Morocco, Poland, Italy and Mexico), three of those, for weddings.  After my wedding in Zakopane, Poland, I was asked to travel with Donnie and Carla to Tuscany for their wedding in the very tiny town of Certaldo. What…

Traditional Polish Wedding

I feel as if I’ve been in a whirlwind! This past month I had the privilege of photographing a wedding in the highlands of Southern Poland in the town of Zakopane.  Magda and Lucasz are both from Zakopane and they are truly proud of their heritage.  They wanted to incorporate as many customs as possible into their two-day event.  From the horse-drawn carriages that…

Alive Again!

What a trip! Wayne and I had a great diving experience in Indonesia (our third trip there!), but this was an unusual adventure for me. I injured myself in the Hong Kong airport (don’t ask) on the WAY to our 10-day diving getaway. So I was dealing with a deep gash on my knee, which I later found out had burst the bursa sack….

Off to Indonesia

Thanks for checking in with me. My husband and I are heading to Indonesia for some scuba diving and photography. We’ll be diving at Bunaken and the Lembeh Straits and visiting northern Sulawesi as well as Singapore. I hope to check my email occassionally at internet cafes, but won’t be traveling with my laptop. Selamat tinggal
