Tennessee Wedding – Whitney & Chris – Too Much Fun!

It was such a pleasure heading to my hometown in Tennessee to photograph Whitney and Chris’ wedding this summer! We lucked out and the weather wasn’t too hot (or humid)
and it didn’t RAIN! These 2 are so perfect together. Both true characters, funny as heck and always getting into something, usually FUN. Whitney played pro Softball in Europe a few years back
and is now teaching PE in Tullahoma. She couldn’t help herself when we passed some pull up bars…had to pull off a few chin ups on her way to photos! Here are a few of my favorites from their

Lord of the Wind Baja – Kiteboarding Competition 2015

Last weekend was the Lord of the Wind kite competition in Los Barriles, BCS Mexico. This years event went really great! We had wind every day and organizers were able to pulloff course and slalom racing, freestyle and big air events. Kiters came from all over North America as well as France and they rode everything from off the shelf twin tips to the latest prototype foils boards. It was a fun week and I’m happy to have been a part of this event. Here are a few of my personal favorite shots. What a ‘model’ pet! Nugget was a ton of fun to photograph. This 4-year-old English Bulldog was perfectly content in front of the lens. Catherine, his incredibly talented owner,

Lodi Family Keeps Growing!

I love this family! It’s been great watching them grow over the years. I photographed Jasmine and Ross’ wedding back in 2006 and then I can remember when she called me wanting maternity photos.
How fun to photograph both girls as newborns and toddlers. Now they are expecting a little boy! Congratulations to Jasmine and Ross and thank you for choosing me as your photographer!
High School Seniors – Annette from Rio Vista High School

Senior Portraits – Mequila

What fun to photograph a former student of mine! I remember Mequila as a bright, ambitious and helpful young student at Wagner-Holt Elementary. Now she’s a Senior at Lincoln High!
She was also one heck of a runner and I was thrilled to find out that she’s running track. (She is nursing a broken bone in her foot, so we opted for studio photos). Here are a few of my favorites from

Last week I was thrilled to photograph a young man who is on the path to success. Andrew is just starting his senior year at Tokay. He is smart, polite, fun and full of ambition.
I love seeing his attitude toward the future and the way that he embraces life. He is wild about science, reads all the time and plays a great game of tennis. He digs astronomy and biology and has a
darling girlfriend. Andrew…I wish you the best of luck and can’t wait to see you evolve into adulthood!
Potbelly “Miss Bits” Visits my Studio

I had a very unique visitor to my studio this summer! Meet Miss Bits. She weighs 4 pounds and likes Cheerios or anything else that you will share with her. She is clean, cute, VERY well-loved and ALWAYS entertaining! Thank you Luan for bringing her in!
Vanessa & Sean are Engaged!

I love hanging with positive people. Vanessa and Sean are fun and fit and full of life! We had a great time in San Francisco taking their Engagement photos and I really look forward to their wedding next year at the Serrano Country Club !
We even had a pod of dolphins make a brief appearance while we were taking photos at Baker Beach! I’ve never had that happen before, so it was a real treat. Here are a few images from our session…
